About Us
Welcome to our jewelry gallery! We truly want to thank all of our friends, clients, family and the community for the warm reception we have received on our newest gallery venture. We are excited to share with you what we have designed in the past several years. We think is our best work yet! Come visit us in the beautiful historic downtown district of 3rd Avenue in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
A little about us!
Greg and I have been designing jewelry locally for 30 years. We are both Wisconsin natives, Greg is from Wausau and my family is from Sturgeon Bay. Greg and I met while attending UW Stout, both studying the arts. We married and settled in Sturgeon Bay, where our passion for creating the fine art of jewelry design began. The original Gold and Silver Creations was established in 1981 in Sturgeon Bay.
Our business philosophy was simple, use the finest diamonds and gemstones, create unique classic to contemporary jewelry designs and treat our customers as family.
Housed in a restored late 1800’s Victorian home we were the first boutique to open in the historic district of Jefferson Street in Sturgeon Bay.
In 2006, we sold our business to focus on new designs and manufacturing techniques. Though semi- retirement was enjoyable we were missing something.
After a few years away from the store we both missed the direct contact we had with our customers, who we consider friends as well.
In early spring of 2010 the new concept of Samara Jewelry Designs was born. Greg and I both hope you enjoy our newest gallery venture and look forward to showing you what new and exciting directions we have taken in our jewelry designs.
